Olive oil has been produced on the island for over 2000 years so don't leave without trying some of the wonderful local olive oil.
If you're looking for a day trip, Zadar is a short ferry ride from Ugljan where you can check out St Donat and the famous Zadar Forum. From Zadar, it's a short drive to visit Pag, Šibenik or even Split.
